At a time when relocating production plants to France seems to be a priority for numerous reasons, we are proud to confirm that we still develop and manufacture our transceivers and airbags in France and have done since the start.
Nestled in the heart of the Alps in Annecy, these are the headquarters of the ARVA brand in pictures. Where it all began, where all our avalanche safety equipment takes shape.
OUR TRANSCEIVERS ARE DESIGNED, DEVELOPED AND MANUFACTURED IN FRANCE
We develop, design and market our transceivers in Annecy, at the foot of the Alps. The lines of code are typed in Grenoble. Our plastic component injection process is carried out in Besançon. And finally, our printed circuits are manufactured and assembled in the Vosges. In total, more than 25 people work full-time all-year-round on the manufacture of our devices : engineers, designers, project managers, technicians, workers and even printers.

OUR AIRBAGS ARE DESIGNED, DEVELOPED AND MANUFACTURED IN FRANCE
We also develop and design our airbag backpacks in Annecy. Our airbag systems are manufactured in plants in both Annecy and Marnaz. The plant in Marnaz, located near the Mont Blanc massif, focuses on screw cutting and machining of metal parts. When it comes to the assembly of the activation and inflation systems, fitting in the backpack and quality control, these processes take place in Annecy.

WHAT ABOUT OUR CANISTERS ?
We design and develop our gas canisters in Annecy but outsource production of the steel cartridges to Germany and the carbon cartridges to the Czech Republic. However, we fill and carry out quality control of all our canisters in Annecy.
